Book came delivered fast! As for the book, I needed it for class and I must say that this book is a great introduction to people who want to learn the basics of music and music literature without too much information overload. It is easy to read yet provides the pivotal points that is essential to know for someone who did have a musical background. This makes up all the years I did not pay attention during Piano lessons on listening. It didn't include the CD so you may have to just Youtube the pieces they suggest you to listen to. Overall, I highly recommend this book to anyone who always wanted to learn the foundations of Music and Western Musical literature from the Greeks to Jazz.
