This book is exactly what I needed as an adult beginner with some background in music. The book includes exercises for each string, which I found really helpful. To clarify, your purchase includes access to recorded versions of the exercises. You have the option of either downloading them with a code from the book, and/or you may order a CD online or by using the enclosed post card. I downloaded the files online for immediate access and also requested a CD for a backup.
